Senate returns Municipalities, Independent Elections Commissions drafts

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Senate on Monday returned Municipalities and Independent Elections Commissions draft laws after amending a number of articles in the drafts.

Senate cancelled the bachelor degree as a condition for those running for mayors for the first and second category municipalities' group and the high school as a minimal requirement for the third category group, considering such terms as restrictions on citizens' freedom in electing their representatives in municipal and local councils.
