Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, attended the International Aviation & Space Salon (MAKS), which is held between 25 to 30 of August, in the city of Zhukovsky, southeast of Moscow.

Upon arrival, The King was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

King Abdullah, President Putin and heads of delegations participating in the show, attended air performances by the Russian air force.

His Majesty the King, Putin and senior guests toured the exhibition, which is one of the largest and most important international aviation and air defense industries exhibitions in the world.

The King and heads of delegations were briefed on the latest technologies, produced by Russian companies in the field of military air defense systems and their advanced technology.

The show, which is held annually, saw the signing of purchase and cooperation agreements between many countries and Russian specialized companies in the military, defense and aviation industry.

On the sidelines of the MAKS, His Majesty the King met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness General Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and discussed cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as the latest regional developments.

The King and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince stressed keenness on promoting the Jordanian-UAE relations in various fields.

They also discussed issues of common interest and regional developments.
