Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister Salamah Hammad said that regulations issued by the Cabinet on granting facilities and privileges to children of Jordanian women married to foreigners, will be fully implemented as this was approved by the government in late 2014.

At a meeting with head and members of the Parliamentary Initiative Bloc, he said the ministry had opened an ombudsman office that will receive comments on the instructions issued by the Cabinet and ensure their implementation.

Hammad stressed the importance of the participatory role of the executive and legislative authorities in shouldering national responsibilities and addressing challenges and difficulties wherever they exist.

Members of the initiative spoke about a number of issues that will affect the implementation of the Cabinet's instructions in concerned departments including fees, the speed of implementation and the enrolment of children of Jordanian women married to foreigners in public schools.

The minister said that the concerned departments will be contacted to remove any obstacles that hinder the implementation of the Cabinet's regulations.
