Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Hamad Al­Duaij handed in Tuesday donations worth USD 1.3 million to several representatives of Jordanian charitable societies.

Al­Duaij told KUNA that the donation reflected the Kuwaiti leadership and people's keenness on helping the
needy around the globe.

The Ambassador called on the Kuwaiti people to continue their generous donation to the needy in Jordan,
affirming that such action was no stranger to the Kuwaiti people.

Representatives of charitable societies in Jordan thanked, on their part, the Kuwaiti leadership and people for the donation, affirming that this gesture contributes immensely to the welfare of the poor and needy in Jordan.

The Kuwaiti donations are mainly directed to the needy in Jordan as well as the vast number of Syrian and
Palestinian refugees seeking sanctuary in the country.
