Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordanian King Abdullah II has accepted Interior Minister Hussein Majali's resignation he tendered due to security agencies' failure to coordinate over citizens' security and stability "Stemming from the imperative need to enforce laws and regulations and uphold the rule of law on all and because of security bodies' - The Public Security and the Gendarmerie department - failure to coordinate between them on issues concerning citizens' security and stability, and the failure to address these issues according to the required level, Interior Minister Hussein Majali resigned," a statement by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said.


The statement said a royal decree was issued accepting the resignation of the minister stemming from His Majesty's the King's keenness on upholding the rule of law, ensuring security for all and exercising no tolerance with those tempted to tamper with the foundations upon which the Kingdom was established or attacking public and private property.
