Jordan second as best Arab tourist destination

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) participating in the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) Fair in Berlin, was awarded by " Go Arabia Go Asia Awards " the second most popular site and Arab tourism destination award after Abu Dhabi.

JTB Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said the prize which was shared in by 20 points of the tourism sector, is an important award that contributes to the promotion of the Jordanian tourism product to be a destination for Arab and international tourists.

Several meetings with charter airlines and the low cost airlines were held in order to motivate these to start flights to Jordan and raise the number of tourists coming to the Kingdom, added the tourism official.

The solar powered Feynan Ecolodge in the heart of Jordan’s southern desert, has been nominated to the National Geographic award in the fair.
