Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Russian President Vladimir Putin was a “drunken groper” during his time as a Soviet spy, is “terrified” of ageing, and always travels with a chef because he is scared of being poisoned, claims a new German TV documentary.

Titled “Putin the Man,” the documentary, which was made by German TV company ZDF and aired on Tuesday, tells the story of a St. Petersburg boy and his journey toward becoming one of the world’s most powerful, controversial leaders.

The documentary claimed that Putin was prepared to shoot unarmed protestors in former East Germany during the peaceful revolution of 1989. He was also described as “lazy” and “drunken” when he headed the KGB’s office in Dresden between 1985 and 1990, according to Mail Online.

The documentary claims it is based on “secret Stasi police files,” interviews with former KGB underlings and superiors and Western intelligence sources.

“He was a desktop spy, a macho playing upon a safe stage,” Mail Online reported one of his alleged superiors at the time as saying in the documentary.

Putin’s “macho” tendencies also affected his behavior with women, according to the documentary's claims. Citing a file entry, the documentary claimed that Putin got intoxicated at one of his friend’s birthday parties and groped his daughter.

“Mrs. H. remembers that on the birthday party of her father he grabbed her particularly fiercely, hugging and kissing her. His colleagues in the KGB spoke about his fondness for hard liquor,” the file allegedly stated, according to Mail Online.

The sensational program also suggested that the 62-year-old leader beat his ex-wife, former Aeroflot stewardess Lydumila, whom he divorced last year, citing a supposed friend of hers.

The documentary’s allegations are not completely unheard of. Documents allegedly from Germany’s spy agency BND released in 2011 painted the Russian leader as a “wife beater and philanderer” during his stay in Dresden.

On a more personal level, Putin was branded by the documentary as someone who is “afraid of physical decay” to a point where he had to resort to a cosmetic surgery in 2010 to keep his “young, dynamic appearance.”

The Russian strongman allegedly travels with a personal chef, not for dietary reasons, but because he is “terrified of being poisoned,” the documentary claimed. The documentary suggests that the leader has become “delusional for control” after surviving five assassination attempts.
