Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Indian police have arrested an actress for killing her husband who had tried to force her to appear in pornographic films, the Times of India reported on Saturday.

In January, Shruti Chandralekha, 22, who acted in several Indian films, and two accomplices killed S Ronald Peter Prinzo, her 35-year-old husband, and buried the body with the help of five others in a district in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, investigators said.

Chandralekha’s husband had originally asked her to appear in porn videos after his financial woes following a string of failed business ventures.

Under pressure to repay the money to his business partners, “Prinzo decided to make porn movies and relentlessly pressured Chandralekha to act in them. She said Prinzo wanted her to take part in group sex for the porn films but she refused,” an investigating officer quoted by the Times of India said.

While Prinzo was away on a trip to Bangalore, Chandralekha planned his murder, contacting two of her husband’s disgruntled business partners to help her carry out the task.

Poisoned milk

When Prinzo returned home, his wife gave him poisoned milk. When he began to lose consciousness, the two former business partners strangled him.

Then, five accomplices bundled Prinzo’s body in a car and buried the corpse in a northern town in the state.

Then, returning back home, Chandralekha and the others seized around $125,000 in cash and valuables.

After Prinzo’s disappearance, his brother Justin asked one of conspirators about his whereabouts, and although the former business partner was driving his car, he could not explain his disappearance.

Upon Justin’s complaint, police arrested the former business partner, who revealed the plot and the location of Prinzo’s body.

Police then rounded up the other conspirators, but did not catch Chandralekha until Thursday, who had been on the run. She was arrested in the home of a Bangalore-based financier.
