Saif to Completion of negotiations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia on the Gulf Grant Projects

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Awwad Alkhalaileh - Dr Ibrahim Saif, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, that are currently being completed negotiations with the Saudi Fund for Development on the list of development projects to be implemented a second stage of the contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Gulf grant to Jordan, and the value of (351.4) million.

The minister said, in response to inquiries, "Ammon," This list includes a number of priority development projects such as the construction of Princess Basma Hospital, and the project of establishing laboratories of food and medicine, and the rehabilitation and maintenance of King Hussein Medical City.

these negotiations came to continue to what was signed with the Saudi Fund for Development dated 11/05/2014 of agreements value of 232 million dollars, earmarked to finance the construction and rehabilitation of roads value of 54 million dollars, the project to establish stations to pump sewage in Zarqa Governorate value (23) million, and the project re-creation al Zarqa Omari border of $ (155) million, bringing the total of what has been signed with the Saudi Fund since 2012 about (898.4) million dollars of the total contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of $ (1.25) million.

The minister stressed the government's appreciation of Jordan's continuous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting the importance of this support is to assist Jordan in the face of economic and financial challenges facing Jordan and which enabled him to continue to implement priority development projects , especially in these circumstances, that the region suffer from political instability, security and consequences imposed by the Syrian crisis on economic and financial conditions in Jordan.

He praised the role of the Saudi Fund for Development in the administration of grant Saudi Arabia to Jordan and responsiveness in response to "the development of our requirements"
