Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Tuesday sent a new convoy carrying aid to the people in Gaza Strip. The relief material was provided by Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Princess Haya Al Hussein to help alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people.

This humanitarian aid contained blankets, mats and medical aid, noting that the aid reached Amman by a large cargo plane that landed at the Marka Airport on Monday and was dispatched in 15 trucks, said the JHCO.

The aid will be distributed via the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNEWA) in the Strip, the Organization statement said, adding that more relief flights from the UAE will arrive in the Kingdom in the coming days carrying more aid material for distribution among the distressed in the Gaza Strip.
