Foreign Ministry facilitates return of Jordanians in Libya

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh, in a telephone conversation with his Tunisian counterpart Mongi Hamdi, discussed ways to facilitate the entry of Jordanians in Libya into Tunisia following the closure of the Libyan borders and grounding of flights at Libyan airports due to the current events in that country.

The Tunisian minister voiced his readiness to facilitate the entry of Jordanians coming from Libya into Tunisia on their way back to Jordan.

The Foreign Ministry recently made intensive efforts through diplomatic channels to discuss this issue with the Tunisian authorities to facilitate the return of Jordanians in Libya into the Kingdom through Tunisia.

The Ministry had recently urged Jordanians not to travel to Libya in view of the current security situation and asked them to exercise extreme caution and avoid areas of conflict or protest.
