Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister Hussein Majali met on Monday with Australian Ambassador to Jordan Heidi Venamore to discuss the crisis in Syria and its security-related, political, economic and humanitarian repercussions on Jordan.

Majali said that Jordan is one of the countries most affected by the crisis in Syria as it hosts a large number of Syrian refugees and is shouldering a major burden to protect its national security and control its long borders with Syria.

The ambassador praised the progress achieved by the Kingdom in various fields.
