FM: Efforts are continuing for release of kidnapped ambassador

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh said the Foreign Ministry and other concerned agencies are continuing their efforts to follow up on the kidnapping of Jordan's Ambassador to Libya, Fawaz Al Eitan.

He added in a press statement on Monday that contacts are underway with all Libyan officials, influential parties, and with all those who can help to determine the whereabouts of the ambassador, gain assurance about his health and safety and review all measures needed to secure his release and ensure his safe return to Jordan.

Judeh voiced hope that efforts will result in the release of the ambassador and his return home.
