Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - King Abdullah II returned home on Wednesday following a working visit to the Vatican, Austria and Russia.

In the Vatican, the King held talks with Pope Francis on efforts to boost cooperation, dialogue and coexistence between faiths, cultures and peoples.

The talks also covered the latest developments in the Middle East, and efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

During his visit to Austria, His Majesty held talks with Austrian President Heinz Fischer on means to promote bilateral ties in various fields, political developments in the region, efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis as well as the crisis in Syria.

In Moscow, King Abdullah held talks with the Russian President on bilateral cooperation, and developments in the Middle East, mainly the repercussions of the crisis in Syria.
