Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Israeli extremist settlers, led by Likud Knesset Member Moshe Feiglin, on Monday broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, yards away from Al-Magharbah Gate in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli soldiers and policemen.

Head of the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in occupied Jerusalem Ismail Khatib told a Petra reporter in Ramallah that the radical Feiglin was accompanied by a group of extremist settlers amidst strict restrictions imposed by Israeli soldiers on the entry of young Palestinians into the mosque, confiscating the identity cards of those who were allowed in.

Feiglin declared his intention to storm the Compound today in preparation for the Jewish Passover feast on April 14. This declaration invited the leaders of Jewish groups to offer sacrifices on this occasion in the Al Aqsa yards, while Israeli police provided the appropriate environment for the settlers to perform their Talmudic prayers and rituals.
