The source added that those involved in the attempt had managed to flee, adding that the security forces are searching for them, noting that they are known for authorities. On the other hand, the border guards have received 568 Syrian refugees over the past 24 hours. The refugees were taken to shelters, where medical assistance were provided for the wounded before being transferred to nearby hospitals. *Petra

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian border guards on Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle huge caches of light and medium weapons and explosives from Syria into the Jordanian territories, an official source at the Jordanian Armed Forces announced Friday.

The source added that those involved in the attempt had managed to flee, adding that the security forces are searching for them, noting that they are known for authorities.
