During the meeting, which was attended by Agriculture Minister Akef Al Zu'bi, the two sides discussed cooperation between Jordan and ICARDA and possibilities for Jordan to benefit from the Center's experience in using modern technology to serve the agricultural sector. Ensour said the government attaches special importance to supporting the agricultural sector due to its economic and social importance. Al Sulh said ICARDA works to forge a true partnership with Jordan in areas with possibility of conducting research jointly and exchanging expertise in the technological field. *Petra

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met on Tuesday with Director General of the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA), Mahmoud Al Sulh.
