The two teams resorted to penalty shoot-out to decide the winner following a 0-0 draw in the 90-minute match that took them to a 30-minute extra time, with the two sides also failing to score, particularly the Jordanian side that wasted some good chances at the goal. The two teams also drew 1-1 in their opening match of the championship in Group A, which was topped by Jordan. The top two spots of the championship will be decided Sunday when Saudi Arabia plays Iraq.

Ammon News - Jordan Times - Jordan beat South Korea 3-2 on penalty shoot-out on Saturday to take third place in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-22 Championship hosted by Oman.

The two teams resorted to penalty shoot-out to decide the winner following a 0-0 draw in the 90-minute match that took them to a 30-minute extra time, with the two sides also failing to score, particularly the Jordanian side that wasted some good chances at the goal.

The two teams also drew 1-1 in their opening match of the championship in Group A, which was topped by Jordan. The top two spots of the championship will be decided Sunday when Saudi Arabia plays Iraq.
