Jordanian authorities arrest 4 more Salafis over Syria fighting

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordanian Police arrested and detained a leader of the Jihadi-Salafist current, along with three others for planning to join armed groups to fight in Syria against regime forces loyal to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, UPI reported.

Khalil Alkam, as Abu Obidah, was detained along with three others in Amman and the southern governorate of Karak, in a recent security campaign which targeted until the moment 34 members of the movement.

20 members of the movement were arrested for planing to join fighters in Syria, and 10 others were charged with attempting to illegally cross the border into Syria, the report said.
