Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Syrian opposition will take part in the "Friends of Syria" group meeting to be held in Amman on Wednesday, a senior diplomatic source said.

The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces will take part in the talks that will be held in Amman Wednesday with the participation of foreign ministers of the "Friends of Syria" group, which includes Jordan, Saudi Arabia UAE, Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Germany, and Italy.

Wednesday's meeting will follow up on previous meetings in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi to discuss the ongoing crisis in Syria and coordinate positions in line with events on the ground and the recent US-Russian agreement on resolving the crisis by holding an international conference, which will build on the outcome of the Geneva conference last year, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
