Queen Noor attends National Music Conservatory graduation

Ammon News - AMMAN - Her Majesty Queen Noor on Sunday attended the seventh commencement of the National Music Conservatory (NMC) four-year bachelor’s music programme.

A total of six graduates received their degrees in music, having completed the programme requirements under an academic cooperation agreement between the NMC and Yarmouk University, according to a statement issued by the NMC.

Joined by Yarmouk University President Sultan Abu Orabi and the NMC Director Kifah Fakhouri, Queen Noor handed diplomas to the graduates and congratulated them on their success.

Queen Noor also commended the NMC’s efforts to develop local talent and enrich cultural life in Jordan. Over the past 24 years, the NMC has trained around 6,000 musicians, many of whom have become acclaimed musicians who perform at the national and international levels, the statement said.
