Ammon News - GAZA (Petra) –– A ceremony was held on Friday in the Gaza Strip to mark the end of service of staff at Jordan's military field hospital, “Gaza 6”.

During the ceremony, Mahmoud Zahar, a senior Hamas leader, commended His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts in supporting the Palestinian people, highlighting the dedication of the hospital’s staff and their efforts to provide health services for Gazans.

Yasser Abu Ghazeh, hospital director, said the facility has performed 526 major surgeries and 277 minor operations, raising the number of surgeries performed by the field hospital since its deployment in January to 6,131.

He stressed that new medical cadres will arrive at the besieged enclave to continue providing healthcare to Gazans.
