The RT-PCR and AIGS-PCR tests cost JOD45 each, and return the results back in 80 minutes, according to Nasser al-Khushman, Director of Professions and Institutions Department at the Ministry of Health. He indicated that the pricing will be revisited regularly, warning that laboratories which fail to adhere to these prices will not be allowed to conduct COVID-19 tests.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced the prices of voluntary coronavirus tests at private laboratories, placing the cost of the GeneXpert Xpert Xpress SARS-CoV-2 test, which delivers the result in 45 minutes, at JOD70.

The RT-PCR and AIGS-PCR tests cost JOD45 each, and return the results back in 80 minutes, according to Nasser al-Khushman, Director of Professions and Institutions Department at the Ministry of Health.
