AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly drop on Monday, bringing chilly and cloudy weather conditions nationwide, with heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, mainly in the northern and central regions, according to a Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) statement.

The statement warned of slippery roads, flash floods in low-lying areas, and poor visibility due to fog formation in mountainous areas.

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a very cold air mass of polar origin, leading to a significant drop in temperatures and bringing heavy downpours, thunderstorms and hail in some areas, the JMD added.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, but the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy with a chance for light showers during the day in the southwestern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly moderate.
