Police arrests two people on fraud charges

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The attorney general has on Thursday decided to arrest two people at a correctional and rehabilitation center for a week on charges of fraud, as they reportedly alleged finding a large sum of money.

In light of investigations, police have found the person, who is working as a cab driver, accountable for fabricating the story of finding a large amount of cash inside his vehicle, the Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said in a statement.

Accordingly, the competent attorney general has ordered to apprehend the story fabricator and the taxi office's owner at a correctional and rehabilitation center for a week on charges of fraud, the spokesperson announced.
