In a meeting late Saturday, the government and the Jordan Teachers Association (JTA) reached a deal to end the strike, under which teachers were granted pay raises and a package of actions to improve their living conditions which will positively reflect on the educational process.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - About 1.5 million students are back to their schools across the Kingdom on Sunday as teachers ended their four-week strike after having their demands for a pay raise met.

In a meeting late Saturday, the government and the Jordan Teachers Association (JTA) reached a deal to end the strike, under which teachers were granted pay raises and a package of actions to improve their living conditions which will positively reflect on the educational process.
