Qatar Airways opens new Amman offices

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Qatar Airways on Monday opened its new offices in Amman in a ceremony attended by Minister of Transportation Anmar Khasawneh, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Majd Shweikeh and Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Muthana Gharaibeh as well as the Qatar Airways Group CEO, Akbar al-Baker.

Khasawneh welcomed the opening of Qatar Airways' new offices in Amman, expressing his hope that this step will be followed by a series of steps to enhance Qatari investments in the Kingdom. The minister stressed Jordan-Qatar ties and called for removing all obstacles to closer bilateral cooperation.

CEO of Qatar Airways Group Akbar al-Baker noted that his company operates three daily flights to Amman on wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A350, emphasizing the importance of the Kingdom's market to Qatar Airways.

He added: "The opening of our new offices in Amman is a response to the increasing demand for our flights, which confirms that we have become the preferred airline for travelers from Jordan, and we look forward to enhancing our offerings and services in Jordan during the current period; and we are confident that the opening of our new offices will help us achieve this. ''
