Cassese said during a ceremony, organized by the Italian embassy in Amman late Tuesday, marking Italy's National Day, "this year also marked the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries." The ambassador also stressed that the visit of President Sergio Mattarella to Amman confirmed Italy's commitment to support Jordan to overcome challenges facing it, noting that the distinguished ties between the two countries' leaders and bilateral cooperation will remain strong. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials, diplomats and guests.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Italian Ambassador to Amman Fabio Cassese stressed his country's support to the Kingdom, describing Jordanian-Italian relations as distinguished in various domains.

Cassese said during a ceremony, organized by the Italian embassy in Amman late Tuesday, marking Italy's National Day, "this year also marked the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries."
