Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Amman, Sunday evening, held a reception on the occasion of the country's National Day that was attended by a number of officials, diplomats, journalists and guests.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Jordan, Rasim Rzayev, stressed the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Azerbaijan, supported by the distinguished brotherly relations shared by His Majesty King Abdullah and President Ilham Aliyev.

The ambassador pointed out the historic, religious and cultural relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan that are based on non-interference in other countries' affairs and the respect of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

President of the Jordanian-Azeri Friendship Association, Marwan Hamoud, stressed the distinguished relations between the two countries and the two peoples in various fields.
