Crude oil prices rise

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Oil prices rose on Monday after Saudi Arabia announced the need to extend the cut production agreement between OPEC and Russia.

Global crude futures rose to $63.61 a barrel by 06:45 GMT, 0.5 per cent below Friday's closing level, according to Reuters.

US crude , on the other hand, scored $54.32 a barrel, up 0.6 percent.

Crude oil futures were also higher after the US announced that the tariffs on Mexico will be suspended indefinitely.
