Over 20,000 Displaced Syrians Returned from Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - More than 20,000 displaced Syrians have returned to their homeland from Jordan, the Center for Migration and Passports located in the Nasseb border crossing reported on Friday.

Colonel Mazen Ghandur, Head of the Center, told the media that this figure covers all registered since the reopening of that border point as of October 2018 to date.

According to the officer, the displaced Syrians come from the Al-Azrak camp, in Jordanian territory.

The documentation is updated in the Nasseb Center. The refugees are receiving primary nutritional and health care and then they are transferred to their places of origin.

More than one million displaced persons have returned to Syria to date, including 440,000 from several countries.
