Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) foiled an attempt of an Arab nationality to smuggle a million and a quarter narcotic pills through a border crossings inside his vehicle to a neighboring country and arrested him, according to the Public Security Department (PSD).

The department's personnel received tips on An Arab national's plans to hide a large quantity of narcotic pills for smuggling inside his vehicle into a neighboring country via a border crossing, the PSD's media spokesperson said in a statement today.

During the investigation, the statement announced, the date of the smuggling operation was determined and the police arrested the person immediately upon his arrival at the border crossing Saturday evening, and seized the hidden Captagon pills, as an investigation was launched into the incident.
