Jordan participates in Gulfood expo in Dubai

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Acting Consul General in Dubai, Shafa Omoush, has opened a Jordanian pavilion in the Gulfood, the world's largest annual food & beverages trade show, in its 24th edition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On the sidelines of the trade inauguration ceremony, which saw the participation of 44 Jordanian companies, Omoush highlighted to Jordan News Agency (Petra) the importance of Gulfood that is considered an opportunity for communication between institutions of the private sector in a large number of participant countries.

Jordanian Exporters Association (JEA) Vice President Ahmad Khudari said that the trade is an opportunity for businessmen to get to know other countries' experiences especially in light of the rise in consumer spending worldwide, which requires being up-to-date in the food industry.

The five-day trade hosts more than 5,000 regional and international bodies representing some 120 countries across the world.
