Salt Mayor Khaled Khashman said on Sunday that he will meet with Jordanian Ambassador to France and Permanent Delegate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Bisher Khasawneh, and officially submit the city's file to the UNESCO. Khashman said that a lot of effort has been exerted to finalize the bid and add a plethora of historic data, hoping that Salt make it on the WHL.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Greater Salt Municipality has finalized its bid for the inclusion of the northwestern city of Salt on the UNESCO's World Heritage List (WHL).

Salt Mayor Khaled Khashman said on Sunday that he will meet with Jordanian Ambassador to France and Permanent Delegate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Bisher Khasawneh, and officially submit the city's file to the UNESCO.
