Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Jordanian man was acquitted of entering Bahrain illegally by the Lower Criminal Court. According to case details, the defendant tried to enter Bahrain through King Fahd Causeway and he found that his passport wasn’t stamped upon entering the Kingdom. He went back to inform the customs officers but was held over accusations of entering Bahrain without a permission, according to his lawyer Abdullah Marashda.

The lawyer argued before the Lower Criminal Court that his client had never attempted to break the rules.

“My client went through all security points in Saudi Arabia before entering Bahrain. If he wanted to break the rules he could have done this earlier. His goodwill landed in him in detention and he now faces trial."
