Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A political and strategic analyst and former State Department official, Joel Rubin commented on the meeting of His Majesty King Abdullah II with a number of representatives of international Jewish organizations in the United States in New York.

In an exclusive statement to London's "East and West" published by Ammon, Rubin confirmed that King Abdullah II is highly respected in the United States.

He noted that the Jewish community views His Majesty as a man of peace and look to him as a ray of hope in an otherwise dismal moment for Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking.

He pointed out that His Majesty is right to meet with American Jewish organizations, adding: "not just because it benefits Jordan's reputation in the US, but also because these groups can help to keep hope alive in the US for Middle East peace. We need all the hope we can get, and his efforts are deeply respected.”
