AMMONNEWS - A relatively hot air mass is expected to affect the Kingdom on Wednesday, pushing temperatures up, creating relatively hot to hot conditions across the country with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk wind, picking up at times, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.

Daytime temperatures expected in the capital and the northern cities will reach 34 degrees Celsius dropping down to 21 and 20 respectively, while in the southern cities they will range between a high of 31 and a low of 18. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 and lows standing at 29, the JMD added further.

Similar weather will continue on Thursday, but with northwesterly moderate winds blowing dust in the desert regions.

The country will be affected on Friday by a wet moderate air mass, pushing mercury levels back to their seasonal average and bringing moderate summer conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the JMD said.

Clouds at low altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds, stirring dust at times, are also forecast .
