Razzaz thanks Gulf states for aid package to Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister-designate Omar Razzaz, on Monday, thanked Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirate and Kuwait for the aid package they pledge to Jordan to help it overcome economic challenges.

Following his meeting with political parties' secretaries general, Razzaz told reporters that Jordan highly appreciates the three Gulf states for providing $2.5 billion to help the Kingdom address its economic crisis.

"Our brothers in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE took the initiative to stand with us in these difficult circumstances", Razzaz said.

The designated premier praised His Majesty King Abdullah II, for his constant efforts that enable Jordan deal independently with internal issues and safeguard national fundamentals .
