Crown Prince visits Northern Badia Youth Center

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, visited Sunday the Northern Badia Youth Center in Mafraq Governorate where he checked on programs and training workshops that benefit citizens of the region.

His Highness's visit to the Center is part of his follow-up on programs aimed at promoting the youth sector and to meet the needs and aspirations of young people in different regions of the Kingdom.

During th visit the Crown Prince toured an exhibition for handicrafts manufactured by youth of the Northern Badia centers that reflect the environmental, heritage and cultural reality of the region.

His Highness also attended a session on His Majesty King Abdullah's discussion papers, during which the youth discussed the importance of these papers in enhancing the participation of the youth in the development of the society.

Prince Hussein also attended part of a training session entitled "The Art of Debates" that discussed social, political and economic issues.

During the visit, His Highness expressed his pride in the achievements of the Northern Badia Youth Center in caring for the young people and developing their talents, stressing the importance of developing youth programs and linking them to the needs of the local community and its interests.

At the Northern Badia Youth Center, His Highness met in the presence of His Majesty's advisor, director of His Majesty's Office, with Minister of Youth Bashir Al-Rawashdeh and officials in the ministry.

The Crown Prince highlighted the need for the ministry to follow up on youth who received training in order to improve their skills and stimulate their creativity.
