Jordan, Spain discuss boosting judicial, legal cooperation

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Justice Minister Awad Abu Jarad Al-Mashaqbeh discussed with Spain's Ambassador to Jordan Aranzazu Banon Davalosa ways to enhance bilateral judicial and legal cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two countries in these domains.

Al-Mashaqbeh highlighted the most important achievements made by the ministry to support the judicial system in Jordan, such as the registration of lawsuits, the payment of fees by electronic means and the amendment of many legislations in order to achieve the ideal justice.

He also referred to the memorandum of understanding between the ministries of Justice in both countries, which is expected to be signed during the visit of the Spanish minister of Justice, noting that such deal would improve legal and judicial cooperation between them.

Davalosa hailed the strong relations between the two countries, stressing keenness to enhance cooperation in the fight against terrorism and praising Jordan's efforts in this field.
