The striker had an operation on his right foot two months ago, after suffering a suspected break on Feb. 25. “Neymar will start his physical preparation with the ball tomorrow,” PSG said in a statement. “Today’s checks have shown a quite satisfactory consolidation of the lesion on his fifth (metatarsal).” Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona in August 2017 for a world-record 222 million euros ($265.11 million), underwent surgery on March 3, but he is expected to be fit for the World Cup in Russia, which starts on June 14. Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Brazil forward Neymar will resume training on Sunday after foot surgery as he bids to be fit for next month’s World Cup, his club Paris St Germain said on Saturday.

The striker had an operation on his right foot two months ago, after suffering a suspected break on Feb. 25.

“Neymar will start his physical preparation with the ball tomorrow,” PSG said in a statement.

“Today’s checks have shown a quite satisfactory consolidation of the lesion on his fifth (metatarsal).”
