Jordan condemns terrorist attack in Egypt’s Arish

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian government strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a police convoy west of Arish in northern Sinai, east of Egypt, Monday evening, killing 18 Egyptian soldiers, including 4 officers and injuring others.

Minister of State for Media Affairs, the government official spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, said Jordan stands by Egypt in addressing blind terrorism and terrorists who target its security and stability.

He reiterated Jordan's firm position on the inhumane crimes committed by terrorists and the need for concerted international and regional efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms.

Al-Momani expressed Jordan's sincere condolences to the Egyptian people, the Egyptian government and the families of the victims, and wished the injured speedy recovery.
