Normal summer conditions expected

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected in hilly areas, while the weather will be relatively hot in the Jordan valley and the Gulf of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

A rise in temperatures is forecast over the coming two days, sending mercury level up a couple of degrees, but normal conditions are expected to continue, the JMD added. Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes and winds will northwesterly moderate to brisk.

Maximum temperatures for the coming three days will reach 33 degrees Celsius in Amman, 32 in the northern and central regions, 37 in the southern regions and 40 in Aqaba. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will reach 21 degrees, 20 degrees, 20 degrees and 29 degrees respectively.
