Cabinet approves 19m euro aid from Germany

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Cabinet on Sunday approved a 19-million-euro grant agreement between the Planning Ministry and the German Development Bank, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to the agreement, the bank will fund the construction of new schools, the refurbishment of existing buildings and the provision of furniture and equipment. The project will ease the pressure on many Jordanian schools, which are overcrowded as result of receiving thousands of Syrian students, according to Petra.
