Turkish Embassy marks 70 years of ties with Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Turkish Embassy in Amman held a ceremony on Sunday marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Jordan and Turkey.

The ceremony was attended by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Raad Bin Zeid, Prince Mired Bin Raad, Princess Majida Raad, Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi and a number of ministers and senators.

In remarks during the ceremony, Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Murat Karagoz said that Jordan and Turkey enjoy strong ties based on common history and values as well as mutual visits.

The ambassador highlighted the important role of the free trade agreement between the two countries in increasing bilateral trade as well as tourism between the two countries.
