Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II received cables of good wishes from Jordanian officials as the Muslim world marks the religious occasion of Al-Israa Wal Miraj, the Prophet Mohammad's nocturnal journey to heaven.

The King received cables from the Prime Minister, the acting Senate president, the Lower House speaker, president of the Judicial Council, the Royal Court chief, the president of the Constitutional Court, Chairman of the Independent Elections Commission (IEC) the chief justice, the grand mufti of Jordan, the army chief, the directors of the departments of intelligence, public security, civil defence, gendarmerie, the Economic, Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans, civic and public figures.

Also, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, received similar cables on the occasion from senior civilian and military officials.
