Army chief, Saudi counterpart discuss military ties, border security

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat met his Saudi counterpart, Gen. Abdul Rahman Al Bnayan, during a recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

The army chiefs discussed ways to enhance military cooperation and coordination through the exchange of expertise, holding joint exercises and stepping up border security due to a rise in cross-border infiltrations and smuggling attempts in regional countries.

They talked about developing the two Kingdoms' approach to deal with such challenges in view of the conditions in the region.
