Last year, His Majesty issued a Royal Benefaction (makruma) to provide a donation for the restoration of Jesus’ Tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. In remarks during the ceremony, His Beatitude Kyrios Kyrios Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine and Jordan voiced appreciation of His Majesty's role in safeguarding holy sites in Jerusalem as well as his generous donation to restore the tomb.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Interior Minister Ghalib Zou'bi took part on Wednesday in a ceremony held in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on the restoration of Christ's tomb.

Last year, His Majesty issued a Royal Benefaction (makruma) to provide a donation for the restoration of Jesus’ Tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
