King starts Morocco visit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday arrived in Rabat, Morocco on an official visit to the north African Arab nation at an invitation from King Mohammed VI.

His Majesty was received by King Mohammed VI and Crown Prince Moulay Rachid upon arrival at the Rabat–Sale International Airport.

Upon arrival at the Royal Palace, an official reception ceremony was held, welcoming His Majesty King Abdullah II, where the artillery fired twenty-one rounds of salute to his Majesty.

King Abdullah was received by senior civic and military Moroccan officials, as well as Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Morocco.

His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty King Mohammed VI will Thursday hold talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent.
