Cold conditions forecast Monday, warmer temperatures over next two days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions are forecast to continue Monday in the hilly areas, while it will be a little bit warmer in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD)daily update.

Light rain in the northern regions with dusty winds in the southern and eastern areas are also expected, the JMD added .

Temperatures will tangibly rise over the next two days, creating spring-like weather in the hilly areas and warm conditions in other parts of the Kingdom.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital and the northern regions will reach 16 degrees Celsius, dropping to 9 in Amman and 2 in the southern parts. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will range between a high of 25 degrees and a low of 16, the JMD added.
